A sweet Spanish style historic home nestled in Pasadena's prestigious San Marino neighborhood underwent a head turning transformation for a newly engaged couple. With reverence for its heritage, original architectural elements were delicately preserved, while dated 90s embellishments made way for a more timeless aesthetic. A masterful reconfiguration of spaces; the new kitchen was moved to the former dining room, the old kitchen repurposed into a cozy pantry and dining alcove, and a spare bedroom transformed into a luxurious main bath and spacious walk-in closet. A muted tonal palette of Old World inspired materials for the home feels rooted in its past while accommodating the couple's future needs. Completed 2024.
